Competition

We encourage you to take part in the lap dash and motorkhana events at the 2024 MG National Meeting and enjoying our MGs together to the fullest. Instructions for the competion and submission of required entry, compliance and self-scrutiy forms for competition events follow.

All Natmeet competitors (vehicle owners) and all of their drivers are required by Motorsport Australia (MA) to complete the following forms (for lap dash and motorkhana events only), once they have completed the online registration for the 2024 Natmeet. Basic computer knowledge, or an assistant, is assumed.

The entry and statement of compliance forms are available for download below. Please download, read and print these forms to complete your entry. They can be downloaded by either clicking on each, or right-clicking and selecting ‘Save-as’.

Event Entry Self Scrutiny Statement of Vehicle Compliance [PDF]

The MG self scrutiny form will be sent by email to the competitor once event registration details and vehicle class have been confirmed.

Once printed, the forms are to have all required details fully completed using legible handwriting and then signed by the vehicle owner and their drivers where required.

Your completed and signed forms then need to be scanned into an Adobe PDF file, using around 200dpi resolution, (noting forms with multiple pages must have the box ticked on your computer ‘Combine into single document’, ) then saved as “Form Name and Your Entrant Name” (and not just a random auto file name). Please check the quality of saved forms before you send them back.

Once all forms are signed and scanned, and saved as ‘Form Name & Your Entrant Name’, please send them to Stephen Perry at the MGCC Event Secretary administration email: [email protected]

NB: Competitors must visually check each self scrutiny item personally, (and not just tick boxes). Failure to check correctly may prevent competing.

If competitors are unsure as to their correct natmeet vehicle class they must check with their respective club sporting captain or secretary first for advice. If there are still questions, the sporting captain or secretary should then contact the natmeet event secretary.
